The DCC met!

Writer's picture: Mother CherryMother Cherry

After 6 long months we are finally preparing to open for worship once again! There will need to be restrictions and there will be no singing or coffee afterwards but at least people will receive again and spiritually be refreshed. We covered a lot of stuff including the announcement on the proposed pastoral reorganisation of the parish, updates on the building work and ideas for a youth worker and parish nurse. What can we do, what should we do and what do we stand down for the moment! Thank God for the people and for their faithfulness 🙏🏽

I am so glad you will come this way - I feel very excited by the possibilities even though the virus put a bit of a spanner in the works but feeling happy now that we can plan even into a future with restrictions and maybe that was God’s plan too! Would love you to help out - just let me know when you are settled!

Hi All, really excited to get my first newsletter from St.Marks. Sounds like exciting developments over there. When we move over to the parish I would like to be involved in some way. I am sending up a prayer and waiting to see if it’s Gods will that we join you or stay at St.Clements. Much love, Debs xxx
